The Hire Process

The platform that makes it easy to manage your hire business.

As soon as somebody pays to hire one of your items, you will receive a notification on the app and/or via email (depending on your settings).

The notification will contain all the information you need to ensure the customer gets the correct item at the correct time.

At the same time, your diary will update with the final shipping date that you could send the item to arrive in time for the hire. You may well be able to send the item before this date – but if you want to send the item more than one or two days before the delivery date, then always check first with the customer to make sure they are able to receive it.

1. PACKAGE the item
Package the item using appropriate packing materials. Remember: It has to make the journey back to you! If you don’t have suitable packing materials on hand, you may be able to purchase them from one of our partners.
2. PRINT OFF care instructions
Print the care instructions for this item and include them in the package before sealing.
3. ARRANGE SHIPPING
Many small items (e.g. individual costumes or hand props) will be able to be couriered through one of our partner organisations. If so, just connect through to one of the couriers and follow the instructions. Larger items may require a specialist courier, or pick up/drop off in person - and we can help you with that 🙂
4. POST
Drop off your package in accordance with the courier’s instructions and click “package sent”. That’s it. Your diary will update the status of this item along with the date you are expecting return of delivery.
